Fable 3
was developed by Lionhead Studios and published by Microsoft. I was brought onto the Microsoft audio team that was responsible for all the sound effects in the game. Lionhead handled the dialogue and music. We divided up the work by system and I was given footsteps, foley, ambiences, reverb, walla, and small ambient creatures. We used Lionhead's propretary engine and editor to implement sounds. I worked with designers and programmers across the pond in order to flesh out some of the systems in my charge. My team also had access to Microsoft Soundlab, an in-house recording studio of sound designers working across multiple projects. It was my first time directing other sound designers on deliverables.
